Lara Dutta goes ‘Chalo Dilli’ with hubby Mahesh Bhupathi

While they had a very happy blissful days as newly weds, the star couple has work beckoning them. Lara Dutta and Mahesh Bhupathi will soon switch back to their professional mode and here’s what they have on hand….

Lara’s next movie ‘Chalo Dilli’ will be produced by hubby under the banner Big Daddy Productions (owned by Globosport) and Bheegi Basanti production along with Eros International Media Ltd. ‘Chalo Dilli’ is being directed by Shashant Shah of ‘Dasvidaniya’ fame and also stars Vinay Pathak in the lead role.

This slice of life, fun film which will entertain as well as bring a lump to the throat also boasts of impressive and promising talent drawn from Indian theatre. ‘Chalo Dilli’ is a journey which along with the two protagonists showcases the real India and its colorful and funny people with their eccentricities.

Excited on their first production, Mahesh (Managing Director, Big Daddy Productions) stated, “Through Eros International’s global positioning, we hope to present the film on a worldwide platform. We have a lot of faith in the script and believe that the audiences can expect a sure-shot rib tickler.”

While Sunil Lulla, (Managing Director, Eros International Media Ltd) said, “The film is an exciting collaboration with Mahesh and Lara and is going to take audiences by surprise with its strong content and fabulous casting.”

Produced by Krishika Lulla and Mahesh Bhupathi, Chalo Dilli has completed its shoot in Jaipur followed by Delhi and Mumbai in a start to end single schedule and in currently in post production.
